Open Beta

Aurbis

Open Beta

One invite code. One launcher zip. Extract first. Then launch through the local Aurbis launcher.

This open beta is for public Skyrim testers. Use an up-to-date Steam install of Skyrim Special Edition / Anniversary Edition. The launcher zip carries the matching SKSE 2.2.6 loader, the Skyrim Platform AE 2.9.0 runtime, and the Aurbis payload; once you extract it into Skyrim, the launcher stages and repairs those files locally.

Step 1

Redeem Invite

Waiting for an invite code.

Before You Start

Required Setup

  • An up-to-date Steam install of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition / Anniversary Edition
  • Enough permission to let the launcher copy client files into that Skyrim folder
  • Comfort with downloading a zip, choosing Extract All, and pointing it at your Skyrim folder

Identity

Session Keys

  • Your session key is your account. No email, no password.
  • It is generated only when you explicitly click Generate Session Key, then baked into the client and shown again in the launcher UI.
  • Up to 10 characters per session. Lose the key, lose the characters — treat it like a wallet seed.
  • This page remembers the last session key on this browser until you click Forget or the server invalidates it.

Install Flow

What Happens Next

  1. Download your personalized launcher zip.
  2. Right-click the zip and choose Extract All. When Windows asks where to extract it, choose your Skyrim Special Edition folder — the one containing SkyrimSE.exe. Default Steam path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition.
  3. Open the extracted Aurbis beta folder inside Skyrim Special Edition and run aurbis_launcher.exe. If Windows blocks the .exe, use run_player_launcher.bat instead.
  4. The launcher opens its local control panel, confirms the target Skyrim install, then stages the client SKSE loader, the client Skyrim Platform runtime, and the Aurbis files.
  5. Create or select a character, then launch. The client auto-connects to Aurbis Open Beta.
